BET Founder Robert Johnson's whopping lie and Hilliary's complicity
Robert Johnson indirectly refers to Obama's teen drug use.
I am frankly insulted," Johnson declared, "that the Obama campaign would imply that we are so stupid that we would think Hillary and Bill Clinton, who have been deeply and emotionally involved in black issues since Barack Obama was doing something in the neighborhood - and I won't say what he was doing, but he said it in the book - when they have been involved."
I don't overly mind that he said this but I am floored at his audacity to insult our intelligence by denying it with this ridiculous and somewhat belligerent statement:
"My comments today were referring to Barack Obama's time spent as a community organizer, and nothing else. Any other suggestion is simply irresponsible and incorrect," said Johnson in an email statement.
Then today, a Hilliary spokeswomen declares that she accepts Robert Johnson's explanation.
Mr. Johnson, you are a liar (and a pitifully bad one). Hilliary, as always, you and your campaign prove to have
"character issues".
Robert Johnson has been most active in trying to repeal the estate tax (presumably to fully protect his billions). I imagine Hilliary is more likely to do this than Obama. Perhaps the deal has already been struck.
